VACANCY

Junior Barristers' Clerk

The 36 Group
The 36 Group is seeking a Temporary Junior Barristers’ Clerk to join its highly regarded Public Law Group on a 3–6 month assignment. Working alongside an experienced clerking team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a busy practice by chasing papers for hearings, obtaining listings, answering emails and telephone calls, liaising with members and professional clients, arranging conferences and meetings, fixing and booking hearings under supervision, and undertaking a range of general administrative duties. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the day-to-day operation of one of the Bar’s leading public law teams.

Applications are welcomed from both existing Junior Clerks and individuals looking to take their first step into a clerking career. The role offers invaluable hands-on experience, close mentorship from experienced clerks, and the chance to develop a strong understanding of chambers operations, court procedures, and practice management. For those seeking a long-term career at the Bar, this assignment provides an outstanding platform to build skills, establish professional relationships, and gain experience within a respected and supportive chambers environment.
