Renowned for supporting law firms, corporates, funders and high-net-worth clients on some of the world’s most complex litigation, arbitration and asset recovery matters, the firm has built an outstanding reputation within the legal and investigations sectors. Reporting directly to a Partner, this is a strategic, hands-on role with responsibility for leading the business development function, driving growth initiatives, developing key client relationships, overseeing pitches and legal directory submissions, coordinating profile-raising activities and managing a Business Development Assistant. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing, entrepreneurial business at an exciting stage of its growth.
The successful candidate will bring 6–8 years’ business development/practice management experience, ideally gained within investigations, legal or another professional services environment. You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering successful BD strategies, supporting senior stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships. Commercially astute, proactive and highly credible, you will be equally comfortable operating strategically and delivering hands-on support, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Previous experience managing or mentoring a junior team member would be advantageous, together with familiarity with CRM systems, legal directories and delivering business development initiatives that have a measurable commercial impact.
